This summer, the AAMI program once again proved its power to uplift, inspire, and equip young men for success—both in and out of the classroom. Held through the dedicated efforts of the AAMI team, under the leadership of Rashard Jones, this year's summer camp brought together academic learning, cultural enrichment, and community fellowship into one vibrant experience.

Special thanks to Dr. Westervelt for coordinating a meaningful site visit, and to Rashard and his dedicated team, whose passion and hard work continue to shape the camp into a safe, supportive space where young men can grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Over more than a decade, the AAMI camp has become a cornerstone of summer programming, evolving each year to meet the needs of students with renewed energy and excellence.

This summer's curriculum focused not only on academic growth but also on holistic development—offering activities that foster leadership, confidence, and lifelong learning. From engaging workshops to team-building exercises and culturally affirming discussions, AAMI continues to create a pipeline of opportunity for young male students of color across the Greensboro area.

We are especially grateful to the United Way and our Board members for taking the time to visit and connect with the program firsthand to learn this engagement inspires staff and participants and enhances advocacy and championship of the program. Your interest, energy, and commitment to learning more about our work make an enormous difference. As our most important advocates and champions, your understanding and support fuel the continued success and sustainability of AAMI and CISGG's mission.
